| Under 8 Years Must Be Accompanied By A Responsible Person 4D CINEMA The 4D experience has 3D imagery along with special effects lighting, moving seats, water spray, air blast, leg ticklers, aroma and bubbles to create an unforgettable experience.
There are currently two different films showing on alternate days: ‘Dracula’ and ‘The Curse of Skull Rock’. The films are approximately 10 minutes long and are suitable for the whole family. The cinema is also wheelchair friendly.

| 1.2 METRES SKY-DROP Introduced to the Pleasure Beach in 2004 the Skydrop stands tall at 22 Metres and can accommodate 16 passengers at a time. This magnificent ride was shipped from Italy and was manufactured by Zamperla a leading name in modern ride design and production. Pneumatic cylinders are used to launch passengers to the top of the tower from which you can get a great view for miles around. | |
| MINIMUM 1 METRE & 1.25 METRES ( DRIVER ) DODGEMS The dodgem track was first laid in 1968 and although the original cars used on the track have changed the excitement of the ride continues to this day. The cars are powered by over-head electricity which transfers down a pantograph attached to the back of each dodgem car to a motor located under the dodgem car body. Each car has a capacity of 2 passengers. | |
| 1 METRE BIG APPLE COASTER The big apple ride is a juvenile steel roller-coaster with a chain pull-up. A train of 6 cars, each seating 4 passengers in 2 rows of 2 travels round an undulating 138m steel track. The train is in the shape of a caterpillar and is a great way for youngsters to experience their first roller-coaster ride. It arrived at the Pleasure Beach in February 1998. The ride was previously at Alton Towers and was manufactured by Pinfari in 1982. | |
| SMALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A MORE MATURE PERSON & MUST BE ACCOMPANIED IF UNDER 0.9 METRES SNAILS AND FAIRY TALES The snails ride comprises of a concrete track on which 10 individually named snails carry lucky children through various indoor and outdoor scenes, favourite characters from nursery rhymes and cartoons can be spotted along the way, not to mention the famous giant which stands on guard outside !! The snails have been at the Pleasure Beach since 1966, were manufactured by Wadbrooke/Bottons and remain a firm favourite with the grown-ups too. | |
| SMALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A MORE MATURE PERSON & MUST BE ACCOMPANIED IF UNDER 0.9 METRES ROLLER COASTER The Roller Coaster is undoubtedly the star attraction at the Pleasure Beach having been in place since 1933 !! The ride actually dates back even further to 1928 when it was manufactured, but was operational in France before coming to Great Yarmouth. The traditional coaster made from wood has a single pull-up, once the train has left the top it then travels under gravity the whole journey until it arrives back at the station. A maximum of 3 trains can be used on the track at one time on busy days, with 30 people riding in each train. At the rear of the first carriage on each train a seated operator controls the brakes, unusually there are no brakes fitted to the track at all.

| 1.10 METRES IF UNACCOMPANIED LOG FLUME The log flume was an instant success when it was erected in a prominent position right in front of the main gate in 1989. The ride remains one of the most popular rides at the Pleasure Beach and is a great way to cool off on a hot summer's day. Up-to 5 riders are seated in a fibreglass boat which travels around a water-filled circuit. There are 3 conveyor belt sections which pull-up the boats to 5, then 8, then 11 metres after which the boats plummet to the ground each time giving the riders a soaking. | |
| 1.3 METRES EVOLUTION Up-to 40 passengers can ride the Evolution at any one time and as the ride starts the cars rotate 90 degrees on their axis, then simultaneously the cars revolve whilst the giant arm raises through its arc sending the brave passengers 20 metres into the sky. | |
| SMALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A MORE MATURE PERSON GALLOPERS The galloping horses is a fabulous traditional ride that never seems to lose its appeal. There is a combination of 30 horses and 2 static chariots which rotate on a large circular platform. The horses also move up and down whilst the ride rotates. Manufactured by Savage's in 1901 this spectacular ride is well over 100 years old. | |
| 1.25 METRES MULAN The mulan, or caterpillar as it is also known, is a fast ride which sends passengers round and round on an undulating track. The 20 carriages are capable of carrying up to 2 people each, and are attached to a central rotating section. Half-way through the ride the operator sends a green canopy over the entire train of carriages sending the passengers into the dark for most of the remainder of the ride, the ride then looks like a large caterpillar !! | |
| 1.1 METRES PIRATE SHIP Acquired from Whitley Bay in 2001 the pirate ship is another fantastic ride from Zamperla. A huge swinging gondola capable of carrying 33 passengers in 8 rows. A giant A-frame supports the ride, the motion of the ride is controlled by one large hydraulically driven tyre on a pivoted beam, with the breaking controlled by another large tyre. | |
| DISKO 24 PEOPLE CAN RIDE THE DISKO SIMULTANEOUSLY AND THE RIDE FEATURES AN UNUSUAL SEATING PATTERN, WITH ALL THE PASSENGERS FACING OUTWARDS IN A LARGE CIRCLE.
